MC2/QEC-SL (Slimline)

• The MC2/SL offers aircraft deck handlers a lighter more slender lashing for medium to heavy lift aircraft. Platforms in the MTOW: 4-10t class where previously the more bulky MC2 Tie-down may have been used.
• The polyester webbing tie-down has a fast single action, over centre lashing mechanism that tensions and locks in one movement.
• Quick release is also achieved in one easy action. The MC2/SL has a unique clutch allowing slack to be taken up without reloading the mechanism.
• The webbing is treated to resist abrasion and the effects of sunlight. The mechanical components are of replaceable corrosion resistant steel selected to give maximum durability.
• The polyester webbing has a useful extended life up to 10 years (5 years in storage plus 5 years in-use) and can be replaced as part of an overhaul routine thereby reducing in-service costs.
• Hook end fitting specifically designed and profiled to fit Deck fitting for RNOV Al Naasir (S12) High Speed Support Vessel (HSSV).
