Drallim understands the great advantage to OEMs by having role equipment fixed provisions designed in with the airframe. This avoids costly modifications and supplementary type certificates becoming a burden its customers. Drallim works closely with the OEM airframe designer to offer Cargo Hook installations, mounting arrangements and attachment points.

Designs are specific to each rotary wing platform and are usually certified as part of aircraft qualification. Once an integral part of the airframe, Drallim supplied installation kits can be installed during factory assembly for later fitting of a cargo hook according to each operator’s needs.

Attachment points for both HEC and non-HEC underslung load configurations meeting FAR 29.865 can be provisioned.
