Managing Director Dave Mooney retires after 21 Years loyal service to Drallim Industries Limited.

Dave came to Drallim in April 2003 as Technical Manager, and in April 2004 he progressed to become the Managing Director.

After a 21 year career with Drallim, the majority being in this role, Dave has now become a Non-Executive Director of the company, as well as a trustee for the company and being actively involved in overseeing the company pensions scheme. We will still see Dave from to time at Board Meetings and AGM’s, as well as company functions such as Christmas parties and our Company BBQ’s in the summer.

Dave said in his presentation speech, that being retired suits him very well indeed! He has many hobbies; his great interest in all things engineering keeps him very busy at home too! one of his great passions being steam trains, model railways etc; he always has a project on the go, whether it be renovating old radios or servicing friends and families food mixers and mowers! he loves to tinker and get his hands dirty.

Like most people who retire, Dave wonders now how he every found the time to come to work! He is now enjoying spending more time with his lovely wife Lynne and has more time to spend with their children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Thank you, Dave, for your tireless efforts over the years, and most of all for rebuilding the company after the fire, for which we will be eternally grateful. There aren’t many people that could have achieved that and got the best out of the team here at Drallim to help us back to where we are today. A great achievement in itself.
