Lashings and Restraints
Drallim have been recognised all over the world for the quality and reliability of its cargo handling products, which it has supplied to the UK MoD and numerous other military agencies since the 60’s under the Cargo Aids and Aerospace Divisions.
Heavy duty lashings
Our range of heavy-duty lashings, aircraft tie downs and storm lashings are regularly used around the world to secure embarked aviation on board ship, as well as a general-purpose lashing for securing various heavy & demanding cargo applications where secure restraint is critical to mission success.
The Quick Release Coupling is suitable for all rugged cargo applications in both the Marine and Aviation environment, offering load capacities of 10,000lb (ca. 4,536 kg) and 14,000lb (ca. 6,350 kg) in either standard or in ‘anti-vibration’ configurations (shown above).

Our approach has been to develop a new generation of Cargo Hooks for the latest generation of helicopters – the HAWK family of Cargo Hooks being the result. All Drallim Aerospace Cargo Hook systems are designed and built to provide a long life and will serve Helicopter operators for many years providing the recommended Service & Overhaul regime is observed.
The HAWK 10,00lb Dual release hook incorporates sensors that enables the pilot to monitor load operating conditions -load beam open; load beam closed; load beam locked & load beam unlocked.
Capable of releasing 4.3 times rated load mechanically; this extra margin of safety allows the hook to be released in emergency situations.
Available with load measurement, which enables the pilot to operate within safe lifting parameters.
